Pickled Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. small okra pods (leave small stem on the pods)
    1 clove garlic
    dill weed or 2 tsp. dill seed
    1 pt. vinegar
    1 qt. water
    1/3 c. pickling salt
    4 or 5 pint-sized jars
Preparation
    Put okra pods, garlic and lots of dill weed (or dill seed) in each jar. Add 1 small hot pepper to each jar. Boil vinegar, water and pickling salt. Pour this boiled mixture over mixture in jars and seal with a 2 piece lid set. Process jars in boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Take out jars and tighten lids.
