Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. chocolate chips (12 oz.)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat oleo and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Blend in egg and vanilla.
    Add flour and salt; mix well. Spread dough into 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
    Bake 25 to
    30 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Sprinkle immediately with chips; let stand several minutes to melt.
    Spread melted chocolate evenly over surface; sprinkle with pecans.
    Cool; cut in bars. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
