Onion Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. baking potatoes
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. water
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation
    Scrub and slice potatoes 1/4 inch thick. Do not peel. Rinse sliced potatoes in cold water and drain on paper towel, arrange in buttered 13 X 9 pan. Set aside. Combine butter, water, and onion soup mix in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Pour over potatoes. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
