Puppy Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 cups Kellogg's Crispix Cereal
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 cup peanuts (optional)

Preparation

In microwave safe bowl melt chocolate chips for 1 minute. Stir, then heat an additional 30 seconds until melted.
Stir in peanut butter and peanuts.
Gently stir in cereal until well coated.
Put Confectioners sugar in 2 gallon zip lock plastic bag. Add cereal and close bag.
Toss gently until well coated.
Store in storage bag in refrigerator.
Yields 8 cups.
