Mothers Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs beaten
    1/4 cup milk
    2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    6 cups milk
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    4 slices toast
Preparation
    In a 2 quart casserole add eggs.
    Add cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup milk.
    Add sugar.
    Stir in 6 cups milk.
    Add nutmeg.
    Add toast buttered lightly and cut diagonally.
    Hold toast to bottom the mixture with a fork until saturated.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes.
