Old-Fashioned Sugar Cakes In Pie Pans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs (unbeaten)
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in the milk
    1 c. melted shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. each vanilla and lemon extract
    4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Beat
    sugar and eggs together until sort of creamy; add milk and soda, then melted shortening.
    Then add extracts and sifted flour.

    (9-inch) pie pans, greased and floured; divide batter into 3 pans.\tSprinkle tops with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 to 40 minutes.
