Baked Fish Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. white fish fillets
8 slices Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. thyme or oregano
1/4 c. parsley
1 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 c. milk
Preparation

Place half of fish fillets in a greased 9 x 9-inch shallow baking dish.
Cover with 4 slices of cheese.
Repeat.
Sprinkle with thyme and parsley.
Saute onion in oil over medium heat until lightly browned.
Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
Gradually stir in milk.
Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute and pour over fish.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
