Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    4 chopped onions
    2 minced garlic cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
    2 bay leaves
    5 whole cloves
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 green peppers, diced
    1/4 tsp. thyme, basil, oregano, marjoram and dry mustard
    1 1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 c. tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place the first 3 ingredients in a large skillet; cook about 10 minutes.
    Mix in the remaining ingredients.
    Can place in crock-pot and cook all day.
    Add mushrooms 10 minutes before done.
