Marinated Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
    2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix together in a quart jar the oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Alternate the onions and cucumbers, adding a pinch of salt and pepper after each layer.
    When the jar is filled, cover with the top and shake.
    Refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
    They will hold their flavor and consistency 10 days to 2 weeks.
