Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. scalded milk
    4 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. cubed bread
    1/2 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix bread with milk, sugar and butter.
    Pour over eggs.
    Add vanilla and raisins; mix well.
    Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
