Chicken Paprikash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. mild paprika
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 sliced green pepper
    2 medium tomatoes
    dash of salt
    pinch of brown sugar
    6 fresh mushrooms
    1 tsp. flour
    1/2 c. half and half
Preparation
    Simmer chicken in 1 1/2 tablespoons butter until golden brown, adding 1/4 cup water when needed.
    Cook until tender, about 45 minutes, with a tight lid on the pan.
