Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
5 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
3 eggs, separated
3 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan and cook slowly over moderate heat, stirring often. Cook until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add rest of the ingredients. Boil about 1 minute or until thickened. Pour into baked pie shell.
