Quick And Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 pkg. (6oz.) semisweet chocolate pieces
    1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. candied red cherries (quartered)
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Line an 8x8x2-inch pan with foil;
    butter foil.
    Combine sugar and milk in medium saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved and mixture comes to a boil.
    Boil, stirring constantly 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat; beat in chocolate and marshmallows with wooden spoon.
    Stir until thick;
    stir in nuts and cherries.
    Pour into pan;
    cool until firm.
    Turn out onto cutting board;
    cut into 1-inch squares. Store in tighltly covered container.
    Can be frozen for up to 6 months.
