Vanilla Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3 slightly beaten eggs
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, salt and cornstarch.
    Stir in milk.
    Cook and stir until bubbly.
    Stir a moderate amount into egg yolks.
    Immediately return to heat.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Add vanilla.
    Pour into cooked shell. Spread meringue on top of pie. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Cool.
