Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 to 2 eggs
10 oz. butter/margarine
strawberry preserves
chocolate
Preparation

Mix eggs and sugar well.
Add butter and stir well.
Mix together flour, oatmeal and baking soda.
Mix all together and divide in 2 (9-inch) cake tins.
Bake in a preheated 250\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
Put together with strawberry preserves and let stand for a day or two.
Melt chocolate and spread on top.
