Episcopal Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. canned pineapple juice
    2 c. orange juice
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    4 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water
    16 minutes or until mixture spins thread.
    Add pineapple juice,
    orange and lemon juice to sugar syrup.
    Add enough water
    to
    make\t4
    quarts
    of liquid.
    Add ginger ale just before serving.
    Pour over ice.
