Toffee Bar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. pecans
    6 Heath candy bars
    1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. wheat germ
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. Morton Lite salt
    1/2 c. Hollywood safflower margarine (unsalted)
    1 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. egg substitute (Second Nature)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    4 Tbsp. boiling water
    3 medium mashed bananas
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour, wheat germ, baking powder and salt. Set aside. Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add egg substitute. Dissolve soda in boiling water and add mashed bananas.
    Mix all ingredients, alternating dry and moist, adding nuts and vanilla last.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for approximately 35 minutes.
    Length of time to prepare:
    1 hour.
    Number of servings: 16 to 18.
