Plantation Pie(Cake Dessert) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/4 c. milk
    3 c. sliced peaches (any fruit)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat well egg, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, milk and butter; beat in flour, baking powder and salt.
    Place fruit in 6-cup baking dish or cake pan.
    Pour cake mixture over fruit and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup sugar on top of cake batter.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
