Aunt Sara'S Easter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3 eggs
    1/4 lb. oleo
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. milk (it may take a bit more)
Preparation
    Melt oleo, sugar and milk in a saucepan.
    Mix it together.
    Now put flour in bowl.
    Add the mixture from saucepan.
    Now add baking powder, vanilla and salt.
    Knead this dough well.
    If dough is too soft, add more flour.
    If dough is too stiff, add more milk.
    Roll dough into a rope form and shape it into any shape desired.
    You can make it like a basket and put a raw egg in center.
    Beat 1 egg. This is to be brushed onto dough before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
    Basket is made by putting one rope on top of the other, make it so some dough is under the egg.
    You can make braids and then make a cross with egg.
