Milky Wonder Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

6 Milky Way candy bars
1/2 c. butter
additional 1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 stick oleo
1/2 c. marshmallow cream
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation

In a double boiler, combine candy bars and 1/2 cup of butter. Melt.
While candy melts, cream additional 1/2 cup of butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add flour and soda mixture alternately with buttermilk. Add melted candy, mixing well.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Pour batter into greased and floured pan (this is too much batter for a 9 x 13-inch pan).
Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for approximately 25 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean.
Allow cake to cool.
