Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 to 19 oz.) box German chocolate cake mix
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels (unwrapped)
    1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Prepare cake mix according to package directions.
    Pour half of batter into greased 9 x 13-inch dish. Bake 15 minutes.
