Squash Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1/4 c. flour
    1 egg
    buttermilk
    1/2 c. melted shortening
    1 c. boiled mashed squash
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients with enough buttermilk to make mixture very mushy.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
