Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. instant chicken bouillon
    5 c. peeled and thinly sliced potatoes
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Place onion and butter in 1 1/2-quart casserole. Cook in microwave on full power for 1 1/2 minutes or until onion is tender.
    Blend in flour, seasonings, water and bouillon.
    Cook in microwave on full power for 4 minutes or until thickened.
    Stir halfway through cooking time.
    Add potatoes.
    Stir lightly to coat.
    Cook in microwave, covered, on full power for 13 to 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese as desired.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
