Bavarian Supper Sandwich - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. packaged biscuit mix
    1 Tbsp. poppy seed
    3/4 milk
    1 egg
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1 beaten egg
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Slowly fry sausage until done.
    Remove sausage; reserve 2 teaspoons fat.
    Cook onions in reserved fat until tender, but not brown.
    Combine biscuit mix, poppy seed, milk and egg; beat vigorously for 30 seconds.
    Spread batter in greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Top with sausage, then onions.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 15 minutes.
