Potluck Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 small chopped onions
    1 c. cottage cheese
    3/4 c. shredded sharp cheese
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook noodles; rinse and drain.
    Brown meat in butter, salt, pepper, garlic salt, onions and tomato sauce.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    Combine cottage cheese and sour cream with noodles. Alternate layers of noodles with mixture of meat, beginning with noodles and ending with meat.
    Top with shredded cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese is melted or browned.
