Spiced Peanuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 lb. roasted shelled peanuts (skins on)
Preparation

Boil the sugar, water and spices until syrup threads form from spoon (293\u00b0 on candy thermometer).
Drop peanuts into syrup; stir until nuts are dry looking.
Pour out onto waxed paper; let stand until cold and dry.
Remove from paper and separate clumps, if needed.
Store in covered container in cool, dry spot until needed.
Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
