Ingredients

4 (1 oz.) envelopes unsweetened chocolate, pre-melted
1/4 c. butter or margarine
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)
confectioners sugar
Preparation

In a large saucepan, melt butter.
Add chocolate.
Heat together, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Let cool slightly.
Stir in all remaining ingredients, except confectioners sugar (batter will be stiff).
Blend well.
Place in refrigerator and chill at least 30 minutes.
