Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sugar
1 lb. butter
1 lb. flour (bread)
1 lb. white raisins
2 c. pecans, broken up
6 eggs
1 (1 oz.) bottle lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add extract.
Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder; add gradually, reserving enough to dredge nuts and raisins, then fold them into the cake mixture. Pour into large angel cake pan, completely lined with brown paper, not greased.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
