Ingredients

3 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
6 Tbsp. flour
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put milk in double boiler.
Add chocolate.
Mix sugar, salt and flour and add to chocolate mixture.
Add egg yolks.
When thick, remove from fire.
Add butter and vanilla.
Cool and pour into baked pastry shell.
Make meringue by beating 2 egg whites and 2 tablespoons sugar until mixture stands in peaks.
