Mock Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cake flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    5 to 7 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together flour and sugar.
    Add boiling water.
    Beat together egg whites, cream of tartar, baking powder and vanilla. Last, fold in egg white mixture to flour and sugar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
