Wild Rice-Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. flour
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
    1/3 c. parsley
    1/3 c. pimiento (optional)
    1/4 c. almonds, chopped (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Prepare rice and seasoning packet according to package directions.
    In a large saucepan, melt margarine.
    Add onion and cook over low heat until tender.
    Stir in flour gradually.
    Stir in half and half and chicken broth.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
    Stir in chicken, parsley, cooked rice, pimiento and almonds.
