Carrot Walnut Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. butter, softened
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. finely grated carrot
Preparation
    Sift together first six ingredients.
    Toss walnuts into dry mixture.
    Cut
    in
    butter; add milk, egg and carrots.
    Mix lightly, being
    careful
    not
    to
    overmix.\tSpoon into greased muffin tins until almost full.
    Bake in preheated 400\u00b0 oven 20 minutes.
    Makes one dozen muffins.
