Light Bread Fruit Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 or 2 cans cherry or apple pie filling
6 slices light bread
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
Preparation

Spread the filling in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Trim crusts from the bread and lay on top of the pie filling.
Melt the butter or margarine.
Mix with the sugar, flour and egg.
Pour over the bread.
Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
