Date Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pitted dates
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 stick butter, cut
    2 c. boiling water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine dates, nuts, soda, salt and butter with 2 cups boiling water.
    Let set for 20 minutes.
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar, vanilla, then flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes for little loaves or 1 hour and 15 minutes in Bundt pan.
