Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. thin pretzels
    1 1/2 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    12 oz. container Cool Whip
    2 c. hot water
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
Preparation
    Break pretzels and place in 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Melt butter and sugar.
    Pour over pretzels.
    Bake 8 minutes at 400\u00b0. Let cool.
    Break with knife.
    Mix cheese, sugar, pineapple and Cool Whip.
    Spread over pretzels.
    Mix jello and hot water.
    Add strawberries.
    Allow to gel slightly.
    Pour over cheese mixture.
