Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 whole egg
    1 2/3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    sugar and cinnamon to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in whole egg and egg yolk.
    Sift flour and soda with nutmeg.
    Mix into batter.
    Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart onto lightly buttered cookie sheets.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
    Yield:
    5 dozen.
