Christmas Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 lb. dates
    1/4 lb. candied cherries
    1/4 lb. cut pineapple
    3 c. flour
    1 lb. pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. fruit juice, wine or brandy (I use brandy)
Preparation
    Flour nuts and fruit, then mix remaining ingredients thoroughly.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
    These will keep a long time and I store them in an airtight container with a piece of cut apple.
