Soft Butter Cookies(Candy Canes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sifted flour
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 whole egg
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine with sugar.
    Beat in egg, egg yolk and vanilla.
    Stir in flour, 1/2 at a time.
    Roll out and cut cookies.
    Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
