Double Chocolate Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) bag semi-sweet morsels, divided
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt 1 cup semi-sweet morsels in heavy pan over low heat.
    Set melted morsels aside.
    Beat butter with mixer until fluffy. Gradually add 1 cup of sugar, beating well.
    Add egg, milk and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Add melted morsels and mix.
    Combine flour and next three ingredients.
    Gradually add to butter mixture.
    Mix well.
    Stir in remaining morsels.
    Roll dough into balls, one tablespoon at a time.
    Roll balls in 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Place on lightly greased sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
