Peach Cobbler Colonial - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2 1/2) can sliced peaches
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Put peaches in baking dish.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and lemon juice.
    Sift together flour, baking powder and soda.
    Cream 1/2 cup sugar and butter.
    Add milk and sugar mixture to flour mixture.
    Mix well.
    Pour over peaches.
    Top with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cornstarch which have been mixed together.
    Pour hot water over cobbler.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
