Shrimp Etouffee(Smother Shrimp) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
3 cloves garlic
1/4 c. sherry
2 large onions
2 lb. shrimp
1 can Ro-Tel
2 stalks celery
1 bell pepper
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Chop all vegetables very fine.
Heat margarine until bubbly, then add vegetables.
Fry until golden brown, then add drained tomatoes and half of the juice.
Cook 10 minutes.
Add shrimp, seasoning and sherry.
Lower heat; cover and steam 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve over fluffy rice.
