Praline Parfait Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Famous chocolate wafer cookies
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/2 gal. pralines n'cream ice cream
    1/2 c. caramel sauce
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
    chocolate shavings
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Stand whole chocolate wafers around the sides of a spring-form pan.
    Roll the remaining chocolate wafers into fine crumbs.
    Mix with butter and press into bottom of spring-form pan, making crust about 1/4 inch thick.
    Bake for 7 minutes.
    Cool.
    Slightly soften ice cream and spoon half in spring-form pan.
    Cover with caramel sauce, then sprinkle with pecans.
    Top with remaining ice cream and freeze.
    When ready to serve, top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings.
