Crisco oil, to season
salt to taste
sufficient water
pan of corn bread
Preparation

Cut
tender

greens
in spring, when it begins to grow wild.
Clean
and wash thoroughly.\tThis cooks down like mustard greens, so you must figure on that when picking them. Put
greens in\tlarge stock pot;
cover with water.
Let boil rapidly\tover medium
heat.
Drain
very\twell.
Repeat
the boiling and draining procedure twice more.
