Cheddar Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp. butter
1 clove finely chopped garlic
1 c. instant mashed potatoes
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. milk
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
5 drops Tabasco sauce
3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

In 2 quart saucepan, melt butter.
Saute onion over low heat for 2 minutes.
Add garlic.
Cook 3 minutes more.
Add potatoes, broth and milk.
Stir over medium heat until smooth.
Simmer an additional 8 minutes.
Add cheese and Tabasco sauce.
Stir gently until cheese melts and soup is hot.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with parsley.
