Gnocchi Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
3 sticks butter
3 Tbsp. oil
1 (8 oz.) can Contadina tomato paste
1 tsp. rosemary, crushed
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 level Tbsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. sage
2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
Preparation

Melt butter and oil in bottom of pan.
Add onions, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, oregano, parsley, sage and thyme.
Simmer slowly until onions cook clear. Add tomato paste.
Simmer about 15 minutes.
Add 36 ounces hot water; stir well.
Bring to boil. Lower heat, simmer 3 hours, covered and 1/2 hour more with cover tilted.
