Mom'S Economy Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes
1 medium onion
4 Tbsp. rice
2 to 3 c. tomato juice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 stick margarine
Preparation
-
Peel potatoes and onions.
Cube potatoes and chop onions into cooking pan, add rice.
Cover with water and cook until done.
Add tomato juice, margarine and salt.
Simmer until juice is cooked into the broth well.
If desired, additional vegetables may be added.
