Beef Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 boneless top round steak, cut 1-inch thick
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3 medium sweet green peppers, seeded and cut into strips
    3 medium size onions, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1/4-inch slices.
    Toss with cornstarch in large bowl until coated.
    Saute beef a few slices at a time, in 1/4 cup of the oil in a wok until no pink remains, about 3 minutes. Remove meat as it cooks to a warm platter.
    Saute peppers, onions and garlic in remaining oil until tender, about 3 minutes.
    Return meat to wok.
    Stir in soy sauce and water.
    Continue cooking, stirring and scraping brown bits in wok, until sauce thickens.
