Chicken Over Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) cut up whole chicken
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium bell pepper, chopped
    1 carrot, sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. pepper
    3 c. hot water
Preparation
    In 8-quart saucepan, boil chicken until tender and remove from heat.
    Remove skin from chicken and debone.
    Put meat back in broth and add remaining ingredients.
    Reduce heat and simmer 2 hours.
