Peanut Brittle Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. hot water
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. soda (rounded)
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and hot water until it forms a soft ball (238\u00b0).
    Add peanuts and butter and stir until it turns golden brown or hard crack (325\u00b0).
    Remove from heat and stir in soda. Pour on a well-buttered cookie sheet and flatten very thin as quickly as possible.
