Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. peanuts
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. butter
    2 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix sugar, Karo and water.
    Boil until it threads.
    Add peanuts.
    Cook until it turns a golden brown.
    Remove from heat. Add salt, butter and soda.
    Spread on buttered sheet pan.
    Break into pieces when cool.
